MHA student accepted into UF Hall of Fame

Kelsey Torgerson, a rising 2nd year MHA student, has been accepted into the UF Hall of Fame! During her undergraduate degree, she served as President of the UF Panhellenic Council and has continued to be a leader since joining the MHA Program in the Fall of 2015. Kelsey represented her class on the departmental planning committee for the UF MHA Open House, and not only was a key team member, but offered a compelling presentation to potential MHA students on her experience as a student in the Program (pictured). Kelsey has continued to support student recruitment efforts, reaching out to applicants as a student liaison and has helped us to secure several bright and ambitious applicants and incoming students for our Class of 2018. Her enthusiasm and passion for the program is infectious, and she is determined to not only have the best experience she can while pursuing her graduate education, but to bring others along with her and share her successes; she embodies a natural leadership style that is the essence of what it means to represent UF and The Gator Nation. In addition to her rigorous course schedule and supporting the Program’s administration, Kelsey also volunteers her time as an active member of the Health Administration Student Association, and plans to pursue an executive position in the organization in the coming year.

Congratulations Kelsey!
