Dr. Ashish Deshmukh presents at the International Anal Neoplasia Society

Dr. Deshmukh presented two studies at the annual meeting of the International Anal Neoplasia Society in San Fransisco, California. The two studies were entitled: “Age-specific prevalence of anal and cervical HPV, and anal cytology and histology in HIV-infected women” and “Management of anal precursor in HIV infected men who have sex with men: A cost-effectiveness analysis.” Dr. Deshmukh was also a co-author on two other studies that were presented by colleagues:  ” Anal high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) in HIV- positive (HIV+) women, prevalence and risk factors:  AIDS Malignancy Consortium (AMC) 084″ and “Multiple-test anal cancer screening strategies improve anal HSIL-detection in HIV+ women and MSM: Report of Two Trials.”
