Raj Desai collaborated with Drs. Jo and Marlow on the paper entitled, “Risk of medication non‐adherence among Medicaid enrollees with fibromyalgia: Development of a validated risk prediction tool,” which was published on October 27th, 2018 in the World Institute of Pain. The researchers developed a risk prediction model that could serve as an easy tool to assist clinicians in better identifying fibromyalgia patients who may not take their medications as prescribed. Based on their findings, the authors concluded that poor adherence with medication remains an important barrier to fibromyalgia patients.
