Alumni Spotlight – Capt. Ayessa Toler

UF PHHP & University of Florida - Warrington College of Business alumna Captain Ayessa Toler used her degrees for a career in public service. With a Master of Health Administration (UF Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy) and a Master of Business Administration, Captain Toler has spent 20 years in the Navy and Marine Corps, ensuring health service support for active duty members. She's now set to command the Second Medical Battalion in North Carolina, overseeing 800 military personnel.

UF MHA Class of 2005 Alum recognized as PHHP Outstanding Alumni of 2023

The University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions recognized seven graduates with 2023 Outstanding Alumni Awards at a celebration November 4 during PHHP Reunion Tailgate weekend. Stephen “Brint” Carlton, J.D., M.B.A., M.H.A. (MHA ’05) was recognized with the Outstanding Alumni Award.
