In this study, complex interrelationships are modeled between sociocultural characteristics, distrust in health care, quality of health services attributes, and the use of health services among Hispanic and Asian Americans. We found that improving the quality of health services could increase uptake of colorectal cancer screening in these groups.
Ciera Hall, MHA Class of 2018, has been awarded the Best Student Abstract by the Association of Academic Surgical Administrators. She has been invited to present this poster at the annual meeting in San Diego in October.

Dr. Deshmukh published, “Adjuvant HPV vaccination for anal cancer prevention in HIV-positive men who have sex with men: The time is now,” on August 12, 2017. The article details a study on the value of adoption of adjuvant qHPV vaccine for anal cancer prevention.
