Whitney Spellicy, MHA
Practice Manager, UF Health Physicians Pediatric Primary Care
Whitney Spellicy is the Practice Manager of UF Health Pediatric Primary Care. She currently manages three practices in the Gainesville area: UF Health Pediatrics Tioga, UF Health Pediatrics Magnolia Parke, and UF Health Pediatrics at Magnolia Parke, which includes the daily management of a $3.5M budget, 32 employees, and over 50,000 annual clinical visits. Her research interests and project interests include quality improvement, maximizing patient satisfaction, and consistently looking at ways to improve the pediatric medical home. Whitney currently teaches the Capstone in Healthcare Administration class, and joined the MHA program as an adjunct faculty member in 2016.
Having been with UF Health since 2010, prior to her role in pediatrics, Whitney served as a Project Coordinator with the UF Health Physicians Clinic Administration group for two years. In her spare time, Whitney is actively involved in the Junior League of Gainesville, serving in numerous leadership roles; a mentor with Alachua County Take Stock in Children Mentor, and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Administration and Practice Management.
Whitney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Florida, and is a proud UF MHA Alumnus.
