    Topic: Basic Epidemiology and basic statistics (essential concepts and practical applications)
    Learning Objective: Distinguish between different epidemiology study designs and results.

  2. “Review and Appraise Research Studies”

    Topic: Assess quality and value of research findings.
    Learning Objective: Identify relevant research findings and their influence on practice.

  3. “Research Standards, Guidelines, and Practice Recommendations”

    Time: 1:30 PM EST
    Topic: How infection prevention and control guidelines and practice recommendations are developed.
    Learning Objective: Explore how research and evidence are used to develop practice guidelines. Apply gap analysis to identify and address healthcare quality improvement needs.

  4. “Strategies for Disseminating Knowledge and Findings”
